Engineer and Project Manager

My qualifications extend to a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from UTS and a qualified Project Manager with the Project Management Institute (PMI). I am also certified trainer of Project Management with the PMI.
For the last 10 years I have worked with George Weston Foods Baking Division (Tip Top Bakeries) as an engineer and project manager. I have built bakeries in both central China and Australia. I have also lived and worked in Chicago and Toronto with other employers.
My decision to become a ‘hubby’ took 12 months to finalise and was instigated by my wife seeing a HAH van and saying to me “the only time you are really happy is when you have tools in your hands”.
I have always wanted to own and run my own business. A HAH Franchise has given me the opportunity to do this.
I enjoy handyman work and pay attention to detail. I am hoping I can translate this into my business. I look forward to the problem solving and helping others with their DIY challenges.
My long term goals include owning multiple Franchisees and running a successful business. Short term goals include taking control of my own life and spending more time with my family.
The training and support from HAH to this point has been fantastic. I look forward to using and contributing to the franchise network.
At no time was I pressured into a decision to become a ‘hubby’ and this alone speaks volumes of the culture of the HAH Family.
